Gargi to stream on SonyLIV from this date

The Sai Pallavi-starrer Gargi, which released in theatres in July, is set to premiere on SonyLIV from August 12, the streaming platform announced on social media on Wednesday.

Written and directed by Gautham Ramachandran, Gargi stars Sai Pallavi in the titular role. She essays the role of a teacher in a film that features court proceedings majorly in its plotline. Gargi is produced by Gautham along with Ravichandran Ramachandran, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Thomas George.

Apart from Sai Pallavi in the lead role, the film also features Kaali Venkat, Saravanan of Paruthiveeran-fame, Aishwarya Lekshmi in a cameo role, among others. Gargi was presented by Suriya and Jyothika’s 2D Entertainment and opened to positive reception.
