Jayam Ravi, Priya Bhavani Shankar film with Kalyaan launched

As Jayam Ravi celebrates his birthday, a new film of his has been launched today with a pooja ceremony. The film is directed by Kalyaan, who has previously made films like Gulaebaghavali and Jackpot. Priya Bhavani Shankar has been signed as the female lead and this will be her first outing with Jayam Ravi.

Tentatively titled JR 28, the film has M.S.Vivekkanandan as the cinematographer and Sam CS handling the music department. Screen Scene Entertainment Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd is producing the film.

Jayam Ravi recently completed shooting his portions for Ponniyin Selvan. He plays the character of Arulmozhivarman in the adaptation of Kalki Krishnamoorthy's classic historic novel.

Priya Bhavani Shankar, meanwhile, has several other projects lined up. Pathu Thala, Oh Manapenne, Kuruthi Attam, Yaanai, and Hostel are some of them.
