Lyricist Vivek on board as dialogue writer for Shankar-Ram Charan film

The film got launched with a formal puja ceremony on Wednesday in the presence of Chiranjeevi, Ranveer Singh, SS Rajamouli, and other cast and crew members

Lyricist Vivek has joined as one of the dialogue writers for Ram Charan's upcoming pan-Indian film with director Shankar. Vivek, who is popular for penning songs like Aalaporaan Thamizhan, Chumma Kizhi, and Singappenney, is also writing the additional screenplay and dialogues for Dhanush's Maaran.

Ram Charan-Shankar film got launched with a formal puja ceremony in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The event was attended by Chiranjeevi, Ranveer Singh, SS Rajamouli, and other cast and crew members.

Tentatively called RC 15, the film is billed to be a political thriller. The film follows the story of an honest IAS officer who wars against a corrupt Chief Minister and eventually becomes a powerful political leader of the State. Reportedly, Ram Charan will be seen playing dual roles in the film.

Kiara Advani, who earlier worked with Charan in Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019), is reuniting with him in the film. Anjali, Sunil, Naveen Chandra, and Jayaram will be seen in supporting roles.

Bankrolled by Dil Raju, RC 15 will release in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi in 2022. The film has cinematography by S Thirunavukkarasun and music by SS Thaman.
