Dhanush sings for Vetri Maaran's Viduthalai

This is the first time the actor is singing under Ilaiyaraaja's composition

Vetri Maaran is currently working on Viduthalai, which has Vijay Sethupathi and Soori as the leads. The film's shoot is nearing completion with just 20 more days of shoot left. The team is currently waiting for Vijay Sethupathi's dates.

Maestro Ilaiyaraaja is composing music for the film. This is his first collaboration with the veteran composer.

The film has a total of three songs and one of them is sung by Dhanush. Though the actor has sung many popular songs, this is the first time he is singing under Ilaiyaraaja's composition.

Viduthalai also stars Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Bhavani Sre of Paava Kadhaigal fame.

Vetri Maaran's frequent collaborator Velraj is handling the cinematography of Viduthalai. The film has editing by R Ramar and action choreography by Peter Hein. It is bankrolled by Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment.
