Sachin Tendulkar congratulates Dadasaheb Phalke award recipient Rajinikanth

Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to congratulate Superstar Rajinikanth on receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke award. 

The former Indian cricketer wrote, "There are very few actors who are able to create a ripple every time their movie releases. Thalaiva Rajinikanth does that every single time a d continues to enthrall the audience with his work. Many congratulations on receiving the #DadasahebPhalkeAward."

Rajinikanth was honoured with the award by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu in Delhi on Monday. Wishes are pouring in from several quarters for the actor. 

Meanwhile, Tamil cricketer Ashwin Ravichandran also wished for the Tamil actor. He tweeted, "Congratulations to the phenomenon called Superstar on receiving the #DadasahebPhalkeAward."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajinikanth will next be seen in Annaatthe, directed by Siva. The film, also starring Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Jagapati Babu, and Meena in prominent roles, will be hitting the screens this Diwali (November 4).
