Trailer of Vijay Sethupathi's Kadaisi Vivasayi out

The film was screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam

Published: 21st November 2021

The makers of the long-awaited Kadaisi Vivasayi, starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nallandi, and Yogi Babu, have released the trailer of the film. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer promises yet another rustic tale told with humour on the lines of director M Manikandan's notable outings, Kaaka Muttai and Aandavan Kattalai.

The film features Vijay Sethupathi as Ramaiah, who is considered a madman by the people of the village the film is set in. The satire follows the titular character, played by Nallandi, who gets pulled into a legal tussle.

The film was earlier expected to premiere on OTT, but the makers have clarified that the film will be hitting screens.

The film was also screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam earlier this year. The release date of the film is expected to be announced shortly.
