Rajinikanth thanks eminent personalities and fans for birthday wishes

Actor Rajinikanth, who turned 71 yesterday, took to Twitter to thank everyone who wished him on his birthday. Through a statement, Rajini thanked several prominent politicians including Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Edappadi K Palaniswami, O Panneerselvam, Vaiko, Thol Thirumavalavan, and Anbumani Ramadoss, to name a few.

He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister MK Stalin through a voice note earlier today. Rajini also went on to thank film personalities such as Kamal Haasan, Ilaiyaraja, Bharathiraja, Amitabh Bachchan, and Shah Rukh Khan, and sportsmen such as Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, and Venkatesh Iyer.

He further thanked the members of the film fraternity, press and media, and his fans who organised welfare activities and offered prayers on his birthday.
