Second single from Ajith Kumar's Valimai out

The makers of Ajith's upcoming film, Valimai, have released the second song from the film, titled 'Mother Song'. The melody features the vocals of Sid Sriram and has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vignesh Shivan, who also wrote the first song, 'Naanga Vera Maari', has penned the lyrics of the second single as well.

The song has garnered 100,000 likes within 23 minutes of its premiere on YouTube.

Valimai marks H Vinoth's second collaboration with Ajith after the 2019 courtroom drama, Nerkonda Paarvai. Billed as an action entertainer, Valimai has remained one of the most awaited Indian films ever since its announcement in late 2019.

One song from the film, titled Naanga Vera Maari, was released in August and has garnered over 35 million views on YouTube so far. In September, a glimpse video of the film was released, further amping up the expectations.

Produced by Bayview Projects in association with Zee Studios, Valimai has cinematography by Nirav Shah.

The film is set to release in theatres on Pongal 2022.
