Priyanka Chopra snubs journalist who questioned her credibility for announcing Oscars nominations

Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas announced the nominations for Oscars 2021 on March 15. An Australian journalist named Peter Ford questioned their credibility and asked why they were announcing the nominations. In a tweet, he wrote, "No disrespect to these two but I'm not sure their contribution to the movies qualifies them to be announcing Oscar nominees."

In reply, the Barfi! actor wrote, "Would love your thoughts on what qualifies someone. Here are my 60+ film credentials for your adept consideration."

Many others on Twitter also came out in support of the Indian actor and schooled the journalist. 

Priyanka Chopra was last seen in the Netflix film, The White Tiger, which has been nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar. She will next be seen in the fourth instalment of the Matrix franchise and Text For You.
