Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas make their relationship official
After a whirlwind romance (that led to them getting engaged after only a few weeks of dating), Chopra, 36, and Jonas, 25, held an official engagement ceremony in Mumbai today
Crossover star Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas held a private Roka ceremony at the actor's residence in Mumbai today. The couple was reportedly engaged during Priyanka's 36th birthday celebrations in London in July. An engagement party is scheduled at a Mumbai hotel tonight. The bash will be attended by Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar.
Priyanka and Nick made headlines when they attended the 2017 MET Gala together. It was soon followed by Priyanka attending a wedding in Nick's family. In June this year, Nick flew down to Mumbai to meet with Priyanka's mom, Madhu Chopra.
Priyanka-Nick's Roka ceremony was attended by her sister Parineeti Chopra as well as Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan. Priyanka was earlier expected to start in Salman Khan's upcoming film, Bharat. Last month, director Ali Abbas Zafar announced that Priyanka has left the project and hinted at her engagement plans as the reason. Priyanka has been replaced by actor Katrina Kaif in the film.
