Balakrishna, Kalyan Ram to join hands in Anil Ravipudi's next?

We had earlier reported that director Anil Ravipudi will be collaborating with Nandamuri Balakrishna for a commercial entertainer. The film is in the scripting stage and is expected to go on floors once Balakrishna is halfway through Gopichand Malineni's upcoming film. It is now rumoured that the Anil film will feature Nandamuri Kalyan Ram as the other lead.

Though an official confirmation about the inclusion has not been made, there is a buzz that Anil, who recently recovered from Covid-19, has narrated the storyline to Kalyan Ram and received a green signal from the MLA actor. "Kalyan Ram has been longing to share screen space with 'babai' Balakrishna ever since he forayed into showbiz. When Anil discussed the idea, he was eager to play the other lead of the film. The actor is really excited to kick-start the proceedings," says a source.

Bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens, the film will reportedly showcase both the actors in powerful roles.

Currently, Balakrishna is shooting for the last leg of Akhanda, while Kalyan Ram has recently wrapped up a schedule of his period fantasy entertainer directed by Vasishta (Venu) Mallidi.
