Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, to be out on Dussehra 2022

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal will be released theatrically on Dussehra 2022. The film is a crime drama fronted by Ranbir Kapoor. It also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Parineeti Chopra. This is Sandeep’s second Hindi venture after 2019’s Kabir Singh. 

Animal is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series along with Murad Khetani and Pranay Reddy Vanga.

Ranbir Kapoor has two major releases coming up this year: Shamshera and Brahmastra. While the latter is the final stages of production, Shamshera has a set release date of June 25. He will also be seen in Luv Ranjan’s untitled next. 

The teaser of Animal was released earlier this year. The 1 minute-18 second teaser revealed the film’s title over a chilly voiceover. In it, we hear Ranbir’s character addressing his father, telling him to be reborn as his son in the next life. The teaser is bookended by a whistle and gunshots.
