Shine Shetty plays extended cameo in Prayashaha

In Prayashaha, written and directed by Ranjith Rao and starring Rahul and Krishnaa Bhat, the former Bigg Boss contestant will also lend his voice

Ranjith Rao, who has previously been associated with soaps, is making his directorial debut with an independent crime thriller. He has written the story and also produced the film. Titled Prayashaha, the film features Rahul in the lead, who is a teleserial actor (Aramane and Yarivalu) and will be making his silver screen debut with this project. The female lead is played by Savarna Deergha Sandhi heroine, Krishna Bhat. The film will also feature Shine Shetty, a popular Bigg Boss contestant.

The young talent who is yet to make his silver screen debut as a full-fledged hero, will be seen in an extended cameo. In addition to that, he has also done the voice-over for the film.

The makers, who have completed the shooting in parts of Mangaluru and Bengaluru before the lockdown, have released a single from the film. “We are now in the post-production process, with the DTS and DI currently going on,” says a source close to the film. 

Made under Arha Creations, the film has Prashant Patil handling the camera work, while the music is scored by Vijay Krishna. Actor Shobaraj Pavoor, Madhu Hegde, Sunil Sagar, and Vineeth are also part of the cast.
