Santosh Sobhan to star in and as Prem Kumar

Santosh Sobhan's signing spree shows no sign of stopping. The actor, who was last seen in Ek Mini Katha, has a few interesting films up his sleeve. After teaming up with director Nandini Reddy for a romantic entertainer, Santosh is now part of a comic caper titled Prem Kumar. 

The film marks the debut of actor Abhishek Maharishi as the director and also features Rashi Singh as the leading lady.

Prem Kumar tells the story of a young man wanting to get married. How he grapples with unexpected situations as he gets frustrated by the odds forms the crux of the film.

"Eighty percent of the shoot was complete, but for the remaining portions, we are waiting for the lockdown to be lifted. The release date would be announced soon," said Panneeru Shiva Prasad, the producer of Prem Kumar.

Also starring Krishna Chaitanya, Ruchita Sadineni, Sudarshan, and Prabhavathi in supporting roles, the film has music by Anant Srikar.
