Karan Johar starts location scouting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani

Last week, filmmaker-producer Karan Johar announced his directorial comeback with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Set to release next year, the film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead. The cast also features Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. 

Recently, Karan revealed on Instagram Stories that he's scouting locations for the film. "Get set go!" he wrote while posting a masked selfie. 

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy. 

Karan's last feature directorial was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. He also helmed segments in Lust Stories (2018) and Ghost Stories (2020). The director had earlier announced the big-budget Takht as his next venture. The film has been put on hold for now.
