Anand Deverakonda's next titled Highway
Directed by KV Guhan, the psychological crime thriller introduces Malayalam actor Manasa Radhakrishnan to Telugu cinema
Actor Anand Deverakonda is on a signing spree and will be shooting back-to-back films. The actor, who ended last year on a high by winning critical acclaim for his performance in Middle Class Melodies, will be teaming up with cinematographer-turned-director KV Guhan for a psychological crime thriller.
Titled Highway, the film also comes with a tagline that says 'A nerve-wracking ride story'. Malayalam actor Manasa Radhakrishnan is being paired opposite Anand in this film that marks her foray into Telugu cinema. The film went on floors on Wednesday in the city and the makers have released the first look to mark the occasion.
"It's a road movie-cum-psychological crime thriller with a refreshing story, stylish presentation, and high technical values. I am confident that the screenplay and the script keep throwing surprises at the audience. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised," says KV Guhan.
Produced by Venkat Talari, Highway has music by Simon K King. Apart from this, Anand is shooting for the last leg of a dark comedy titled Pushpaka Vimanam. The Dorasani actor will also be seen in an untitled film each with Suresh Productions and Madhura Entertainments.
