Pooja Hegde not part of Nithiin's next

We had earlier reported that writer-turned-director Vakkantham Vamsi is all set to direct Nithiin in a romantic action entertainer. The untitled film is being bankrolled by Tagore Madhu under Saraswathi Films Division. It was then speculated that actor Pooja Hegde would play the female lead in the film. However, when contacted, a source close to the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor denied the news and stated that she hasn't signed any film after Vijay-starrer Beast.

"We have noticed the news of Pooja Hegde being part of Nithiin's new film with Vakkantham Vamsi. It is completely baseless. We don't know what the role or the film is all about. And Pooja will sign a film only after she is given the narration. Neither the producer nor the director ever approached Pooja for any role in their upcoming film," says the source.

Meanwhile, Pooja recently completed shooting for Prabhas-starrer Radhe Shyam. She is currently shooting for Beast in Chennai. She also shot for a few portions in Chiranjeevi-starrer Acharya and will also be seen in Akhil's Most Eligible Bachelor.
