Sonu Sood says Prithviraj makers eyeing a 2021 release

Sonu Sood, who will next be seen starring in Akshay Kumar's historical drama Prithviraj, has said that he has completed shooting his portions for the film and has also said that the makers are eyeing a 2021 release date.

"They are planning to release the film when the (COVID) situation gets better," Sonu told IANS.

Prithviraj, directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films, features Akshay and Manushi Chillar. Manushi, who is a former Miss World, makes her Hindi film debut with Prithviraj.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij and Lalit Tiwari.

Sonu is currently in the news for starring in the video song of Paagal Nahin Hona, his debut music video which is dedicated to the army men and their loved ones. Sung by Sunanda Sharma, the romantic ballad is composed by Avvy Sara and has lyrics by Jaani.
