Dhanush sings a song for D43
D43 has Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead with Mookuthi Amman-fame Smurthi Venkat and Samuthirakani in key roles
Dhanush, who has recently begun shooting for his upcoming film with Karthick Naren, has finished filming a song choreographed by Jani. This song has been sung by Dhanush himself, with lyrics by Vivek, who is also credited for addition screenplay in the film. Tentatively referred to as D43, the film has music by GV Prakash Kumar.
"Dhanush sir's D43 first song shoot wrapped up! Stay tuned to witness the super mass moves for the mass track sung by Dhanush sir, written by lyricist Vivek gaaru with GV Prakash," Jani tweeted.
D43 has Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead with Mookuthi Amman-fame Smurthi Venkat and Samuthirakani in key roles. Dhanush is said to be playing a journalist in the film, which is touted to be an investigative thriller.
D43 is Karthick Naren's third directorial after Dhuruvangal Pathinaru and Mafia. Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of Jagame Thandiram.
