Actors Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra have joined the cast of Mission Majnu. A spy thriller set in the 70s, the film features Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna as leads. It chronicles ‘India's most ambitious RAW operation undertaken on Pakistani soil.’

Director Shantanu Baagchi says, “We welcome Sharib and Kumud on board. As a director, it is reassuring to have such amazing actors who will elevate the script to make it an exciting watch.” Kumud Mishra adds, "I am excited to be a part of this gripping story."

Sharib Hashmi shares, "I am extremely delighted and thrilled to be a part of Mission Majnu. I was overwhelmed by the script of the film. What makes it riveting for me is that it is strongly themed on patriotism and valour. I am honored to be celebrating the hard work of RAW agents through this film."

Mission Majnu is co-produced by RSVP and Guilty By Association. The film will be extensively shot in Lucknow and Mumbai.
