Sobhita Dhulipala plays NRI hostage in Major
The first look poster of the actor was released by the makers today
The first look poster of Sobhita Dhulipala from the upcoming biopic Major has been released by the makers. She will be seen as an NRI hostage trapped in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
The poster is a front shot of Sobhita as she stares in fear holding a girl child in her arms; her face is scarred and bloodied.
Inspired by the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was awarded the Ashoka Chakra for his bravery in the 26/11 attacks, the film is being directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.
The film will see Adivi Sesh stepping into the shoes of Sandeep, while Saiee Manjrekar plays his love interest.
Produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with GMB Entertainments and A+S Movies, a schedule each of Major were recently completed at the Indo-China border and Ramoji Film City.
Major is slated for release on July 2 in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
