Marvel has released a new trailer of its Scarlett Johansson-starrer Black Widow and has confirmed that the film will be hitting the screens on July 9.
The new trailer features never-before-seen action scenes from the film and also a callback to Avengers: End Game, the Marvel film where the character Black Widow made her last appearance.
The new Black Widow film is a prequel story of the character tracing her days as a super-assassin before she joined Shield and eventually the Avengers. Also starring Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle and William Hurt, the film has been directed by Cate Shortland, who is known for helming Berlin Syndrome.
In early April last year, Disney announced that Black Widow would be released on November 6, 2020. But, in September, Disney pushed the release to May 7, 2021, followed by a third postponement to July 9, 2021 now.
