Vijay Deverakonda, Sukumar team up for pan-Indian film

The yet-to-be-titled film will mark the debut of Kedar Selagamsetty as producer

Director Sukumar and actor Vijay Deverakonda are teaming up for a pan-India film that will mark the debut of Kedar Selagamsetty as producer.

Coinciding with the producer's birthday, Vijay made a surprise announcement on his Twitter page today. "Sukumar - Vijay Deverakonda. The actor in me is super excited. The audience in me is celebrating! We guarantee you memorable cinema. I can't wait to be on set with Sukku sir. Happy birthday Kedar, you've been a good friend and you work extremely hard," wrote Vijay, adding, "Congratulations on Falcon (Creations, the production banner). This is our gift to you!"

The yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors in 2022. It will be shot in Telugu and dubbed into other regional languages. The cast and crew of the film are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Vijay will soon resume shooting for his upcoming martial arts actioner, Liger. Sukumar, on the other hand, will kick-start filming for Pushpa, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.
