We had earlier reported that Ranjit Jayakodi is collaborating with Bindhu Madhavi for a project named Yaarukkum Anjael. The first look of the film was unveiled today by Vijay Sethupathi on Twitter. The poster shows a solemn Bindhu Madhavi looking at a blood-spattered corpse, in a dingy room.
Apart from Bindhu, Yaarukkum Anjael also stars Bengali actor Darshana Banik. The film was shot in 30 days at Ooty and is said to revolve around two sisters who go to their native town to sell their ancestral place.
Ranjit last made the Harish Kalyan-Shilpa Manjunath-starrer Ispade Rajavum Irudhaya Raaniyum. Bindhu Madhavi was last seen in the 2019 film Kazhugu 2, a spiritual sequel to the 2012 romantic thriller of the same name.
