Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the happening directors currently in Kollywood. Even as fans are waiting for the release of Master, his upcoming film with Vijay, the director seems to have started working on his next venture.

In a tweet, Lokesh revealed that he will be announcing his next project tomorrow (September 16). He wrote, "I'm very happy to let you guys know that the announcement of my next directorial venture will be out tomorrow at 6 pm!"

Earlier, it was reported that Lokesh and Rajinikanth would be coming together for a film bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International. In addition to that, it was also rumoured that Lokesh and Suriya might team up for a project. However, neither of the aforementioned films have been officially announced until now.

Meanwhile, there have been no official updates so far about the release of Master, which was initially scheduled for April 9. Master, which has Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi sharing screen space for the first time, also stars Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, and Arjun Das in key roles. It has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
