RX 100-fame Ajay Bhupathi's ambitious film Maha Samudram, which has been in pre-production for a while now, will start rolling soon, the makers announced today. The film, said to be an intense romantic action drama, will be a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil, and it will feature Sharwanand in the lead role.

"The title Maha Samudram sounds interesting and promises to be a well-packaged entertainer. Ajay Bhupathi has written a powerful yet stunning script that presents Sharwanand in a challenging role. The actor is excited to kick-start the proceedings," read a statement from AK Entertainments, the film's production house.

Meanwhile, the actor will start shooting for the final schedule of his upcoming film, Sreekaram, in the last week of September in Hyderabad.
