Malavika Mohanan joins Dhanush-Karthick Naren's D43

Malavika Mohanan will be playing the female lead in Dhanush's next directed by Karthick Naren. Tentatively referred to as D43, the film is produced by TG Thyagarajan's Sathya Jyothi Films and it has music by GV Prakash. 

It may be recalled that Malavika had previously expressed interest to work with Dhanush in a social media post. The actor is currently awaiting the release of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master, in which she is paired opposite Vijay.

D43, which is touted to be a thriller that will have Dhanush playing a journalist, marks the actor's fifth collaboration with composer GV Prakash after Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Mayakkam Enna, and last year's Asuran. It is also his third project with Sathya Jyothi Films after Thodari and Pattas. Dhanush also has one more film to be bankrolled by the production house — directed by Ratsasan-fame Ramkumar.
