Rajamouli resumes filming RRR with night shoot

Director SS Rajamouli resumed work on his upcoming period drama, RRR, with an extensive night schedule on Tuesday. The production team has shared sneak-peeks from the night shoot as RRR Diaries and it has got fans of Jr NTR and Ram Charan excited.

The team, including NTR, reportedly begins shooting late evenings and continues filming till the wee hours in a specially-constructed set in Hyderabad. "The unit continued the shoot from where they left off before Dasara. They are showing great enthusiasm and are delighted to be back at work," reveals a source.

RRR will see NTR and Charan play the younger versions of Komarum Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, freedom fighters from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The core idea of RRR is inspired by the Hollywood film, The Motorcycle Diaries.

The film also features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Samuthirakani, and Shriya Saran in pivotal roles. Produced by DVV Danayya, RRR is set for release simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and six other Indian languages in mid-2021. The film has music by MM Keeravani.
