The first look of Karthi-starrer Sulthan is out

The first look of Karthi’s upcoming film, Sulthan was released today on social media. The poster features an intense-looking Karthi brandishing a whip, with an angry crowd behind him.

Directed by Remo-fame Bakkiyaraj Kannan, Sulthan marks the Tamil debut of Rashmika Mandanna. Billed as Karthi's 'biggest production' so far, the film is expected to be a family and action entertainer.

With the shooting complete, the team is currently focused on post-production. Karthi began dubbing for his portions recently.

Sulthan has music by Vivek-Mervin and cinematography by Kaithi-fame Sathyan Sooryan. Apart from Karthi and Rashmika, the film also stars Yogi Babu. 

Karthi, who was last seen in Jeethu Joseph’s Thambi, also has Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, and a film each with PS Mithran and Muthiah in the pipeline.
