Ayushmann Khurrana-Vaani Kapoor’s next titled Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui

Abhishek Kapoor's next starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor has been titled Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Produced by Pragya Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar, the film went on floors today. The upcoming love story will star Ayushmann as a cross-functional athlete. 

“Abhishek has a very distinct voice in cinema today and I’m glad that we finally got the opportunity to collaborate,” Ayushmann had previously stated. On his physical transformation or the part, he had added, “I have never looked like this on-screen and I’m looking forward to seeing the reaction of audiences. The process is going to be intense and excruciating for me, but I feel all the pain will be worth it.” 

Abhishek Kapoor had last directed Kedarnath, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan. He is also helming a film on the 2019 Balakot air strikes.
