Hyderabad is going to have a brand new film studio soon. Coinciding with the 99th birth anniversary of his late father and comedian Allu Ramalingaiah today, producer Allu Aravind in the presence of his sons – Allu Venkatesh (Bobby), Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish – has announced the commencement of Allu Studios.

Spread over 10 acres in Gandipet, the construction works of Allu Studios began with a low-key event in line with the unlock 4.0 guidelines. However, other details about the studio facilities and when it will be operational are yet to be announced.

Allu Arjun shared an update on behalf of the family on social media. He wrote, "1st of October marks the 99th birth anniversary of our beloved Dr. Sri Allu Ramalingaiah. To commemorate the occasion and honour his memory, the Allu family will inaugurate the construction work of ALLU Studios. We celebrate the legacy of our grandfather and dedicate this ALLU Studios to him. With all your blessings and good wishes, we commence the works of ALLU Studios."

According to reports, the Allu family has roped in international engineers for the design and the architecture of the Allu Studios, which will have dedicated floors for film shootings and post-production works.

Further, the Allu family is also planning to organise the centenary birth celebrations of Allu Ramalingaiah from October 1, 2021, to October 1, 2022, in Visakhapatnam, Palakollu, Guntur and Hyderabad.
