Shah Rukh Khan to play Yash Chopra in his biopic? Yash Raj Films denies rumours 

Yash Raj Films has denied rumours of Shah Rukh Khan playing Yash Chopra in the latter's biopic. Recently, reports had emerged that Aditya Chopra was planning a biopic on his late father. 

“There has been a lot of speculation about Aditya Chopra planning to make a biopic on his late father, the legendary Yash Chopra,” Yash Raj Films said in a statement. “We can officially tell you that this news is absolutely untrue and a figment of imagination. This is a baseless rumour. There are absolutely no plans to make a biopic on Yash Chopra ji.”

Yash Raj Films recently commenced its 50-year celebrations with the birth anniversary of Yash Chopra. The legendary director had made several iconic films throughout his career. His first film with Shah Rukh Khan, Darr, had released in 1993. Incidentally, Shah Rukh Khan was also the lead of Yash Chopra's final film, Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
