Chiranjeevi to resume shooting for Acharya

We had previously reported that Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva have teamed up for a socio-political entertainer titled Acharya. The shooting was halted midway due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and just as the makers were planning on resuming the shoot, it was reported that the veteran actor had tested positive for COVID-19. However, it was later confirmed that the testing kit was at fault and the actor was not affected at all. 

Now, the makers of Acharya are planning on resuming filming and according to sources, Chiranjeevi is planning on returning to the film's sets on November 20 and will wrap up the film in a single schedule. 

Produced by Konidela Productions in association with Matinee Entertainment, Acharya has Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. The film's music is composed by Mani Sharma.
