Bollywood actor Asif Basra found dead in Himachal Pradesh

The forensic team is at the spot and the police is investigating the matter

Bollywood actor Asif Basra was found dead today at a private guest house in Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh.

News agency ANI quoted SSP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan as saying, "Film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. The forensic team is at the spot and the police is investigating the matter."

Asif had appeared in films like Black Friday, Jab We Met, Kai Po Che, Ek Villain, and others. He was recently seen in the streaming shows Hostages and Paatal Lok. Internationally, Asif had appeared in the Hollywood comedy, Outsourced, and the historical drama One Night with the King.

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Asif’s co-star in Kai Po Che, had died by suicide earlier this year.
