A Quiet Place 3 to be released in 2022

A Quiet Place's spinoff movie has received a 2022 release date. The original A Quiet Place premiered in 2018 and established John Krasinski as a director. The movie, starring Emily Blunt and Krasinski, was set in a post-apocalyptic world and received critical acclaim for its performances and sound design.

Its sequel, A Quiet Place 2 has been delayed to April 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The second instalment reportedly is set to bring back Emily Blunt's character.

A Quiet Place 3, a spin-off movie in the franchise is in the works, and Deadline reports that the movie, which is set in the same universe, will be written and directed by Jeff Nichols. While the plot details aren't known, it is said that it is based on 'an original idea' from Krasinski.
