Kamal Haasan 232 is Vikram: Guns, knives, swords, and an ageless Ulaganayagan

Vikram (1986)  marked the first film produced by the actor under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International

We had earlier reported that Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is awaiting the release of the Vijay-starrer Master, will next be joining hands with Kamal Haasan for a new film. On the occasion of the actor-politican's 66th birthday on Saturday, the title of this project was announced as Vikram

Earlier referred to as Kamal Haasan 232, the film is being produced under Kamal's home banner, Raaj Kamal Film International, and will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.  The Master crew of cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan and editor Philomin Raj have been retained for Vikram as well.

Incidentally, Vikram (1986) marked the first film produced by the actor under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International. It was also reportedly the first Tamil film to have had a budget over one crore.

Set for release next summer, the shooting of Vikram is expected to commence soon.
