Kehnde Rehnde: Neha Bhasin releaes song on cyber bullying

Singer Neha Bhasin’s upcoming track Kehnde Rehnde addresses cyberbullying and online trolling. The song, which has been released today, flags issues of slut-shaming, sexism, and confining a woman to stereotypical standards.

"Kehnde Rehnde is my way of highlighting the sexism, biases, and shaming that takes place every day, every minute, online and offline in our society,” Neha said. “It needs to be heard loud and clear by those who endorse the ideology that a man needs to behave a certain way to be accepted in the society and  that women need to stay within the limits of 'tradition' to be accepted. It's about time that we put our foot down. Through my music, I intend to reach every nook and corner which gives shelter to these mindsets."

Neha has written this song with Ritesh Jumnani, and composed it with Sameer Uddin. The video is directed by Shraddha Singhvi and shot by Sumit Sammadar.
