TN government allows shooting for television shows
A crew with a maximum of 20 people will be allowed to continue work with approval from the respective district collectors
The Tamil Nadu government has granted permission to resume indoor shooting for television shows from today across the state. A crew with a maximum of 20 people will be allowed to continue work with approval from the respective district collectors. To shoot in Chennai, permission must be acquired from the corporation commissioner.
Several precautionary measures such as sanitising hands, wearing masks, temperature screening, and disinfecting vehicles and premises have also been advised to be strictly followed. Shooting will not be allowed in containment zones and the general public will not be allowed in the shooting areas.
Following the Covid-19 outbreak and consequent lockdowns, shooting and production work across the entertainment industry came to a halt. However, restrictions are now slowly being eased. Last week, the Tamil Nadu government gave approval to resume post-production work of films and TV shows.
