B.E.S.T. ONE: Documentary on Mumbai’s first female bus driver out online

Last year, 25-year-old Pratiksha Das became the first female to complete her training and drive a B.E.S.T Bus in Mumbai. Her story has now been captured by Final Draft Productions as B.E.S.T ONE, a short documentary released online on May 12.

Pratiksha, a mechanical engineer and motorcycle enthusiast, was lauded for breaking stereotypes in a male-dominant profession. Taking about the importance of making her story into a documentary film, producer Uday Kotecha and director Krunal Acharya jointly said, "Pratiksha's story is inspirational and aspirational, although everyone knows that she is Mumbai's first B.E.S.T driver but nobody knew the real struggles that she faced in making her this dream come true. We hope her story empowers women and men both."

Pratiksha shared, "I have always believed in the power of chasing dreams, and this one was mine. No dream is small and there is nothing you can not achieve. Team Final Draft Productions and I hope that my journey encourages many."
