Actor Disha Patani, who made her Telugu debut with Puri Jagannadh directorial Loafer, is being considered to shoot for a special song in Pushpa, say reports. Directed by Sukumar, the film features Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair.

"The makers approached Disha for a special song, which is not an item number in the film. She is excited about the offer and was interested to do it, but she hasn't signed on the dotted line yet. A clear picture will emerge after the Covid-19 lockdown ends," says a source.

Set against the backdrop of Seshachalam forests, the film shows Allu Arjun in the titular role of that of a truck driver, who transports red sandalwood across Andhra Pradesh border. Besides Telugu, the Sukumar directorial will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Polish cameraman Miroslaw Kuba Brozek has been roped in to handle the camera, while Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. The first schedule of Pushpa will commence in August.
