Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya-fame Sethuraman passes away
The actor-dermatologist succumbed to cardiac arrest

Sethuraman, who made his deut in the popular comedy film Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya passed away on Thursday night after suffering a cardiac arrest. The actor, also a well-known dermatologist, was a close friend of Santhanam. The duo worked together in films like Vaaliba Raja and Sakka Podu Podu Raja.
The sudden demise of Sethu has shocked the film industry, with several celebrities expressing their condolences through Twitter.
Actor Prasanna, a friend of Sethu, says he is shaken. "It is disheartening to know that this can happen to a healthy person like him. He was a good friend of mine and I know him from his college days. I didn't believe the news first. I am in a state of shock. This is no age to die."
Kushbu Sundar, the actor-politician, says she is still in denial that he is gone - "I am looking through his pictures now and wondering if he is really gone.He was my dermatologist. Sethu was not the kind of person, who would ask you to do some treatment to earn money. He genuinely cared about people. Most importantly, I have never seen such a soft-spoken person. Times are such that, one can't even go and pay their last respects. He spoke to me two days ago, asking about my daughter's health and it has come as a rude shock to me. It will take some time for all of us to come in terms with his absence. 36 is not an age to go... this when people start living their lives."
Sethu was last seen in the comedy film, 50/50, which hit the screens last year. He was also famous for his YouTube videos, in which he talked about latest advancements in the field of dermatology. He recently appeared in a Corona awareness show which was streamed on Monday, and was actively educating the people about the disease on social media up till his untimely demise. He is survived by his wife and child.
