Samantha Akkineni is part of Vignesh Shivan 's Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal

Contrary to reports, Samantha hasn’t opted out of Vignesh Shivan’s next film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. While several reports suggested that the Jaanu actor has opted out of the project as she is taking a ‘break’ from films, a source from the team vehemently denies it, adding that Samantha is very much part of the film. The actor also put a workout video recently where she was seen lifting heavy weights, to silence such speculations.

Apart from Samantha, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal will also star Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. Interestingly, Vignesh, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Anirudh have collaborated earlier on Naanum Rowdy Thaan

Meanwhile, Samantha will also join hands with Ashwin Saravanan for a woman-centric horror film, where she will share screen space with Prasanna. The actor is also making her digital debut with Amazon Prime’s Family Man 2.
