Kriti Sanon wraps up Mimi shoot

Actor Kriti Sanon has wrapped up her upcoming film Mimi, directed by Laxman Uterkar. Kriti stars in the role of a surrogate mother in the social drama film based on the National Award-winning 2011 Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy!

Kriti took to Instagram to thank her cast and crew. "Mimi has been such an experience! The most satisfying schedule ever with a super passionate and hardworking cast and crew. It's such a lovely feeling when everyone just wants to put in their best effort to make a beautiful film! This one's too close to my heart," she wrote. 

Primarily shot in Jaipur, Mimi also features Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak.

Laxman Utekar made his Hindi directorial debut in Luka Chuppi (2018), starring Kriti and Kartik Aaryan. He is set to reunite with the actors for Luka Chuppi 2. 

Kriti was last seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Panipat. She has a special appearance in the March 13 release, Angrezi Medium.
