Director Gautham Menon and cinematographer PC Sreeram are coming together for a web series for Amazon Prime. The renowned cinematographer took to Twitter to reveal the news.

He wrote, "My next project after the lockdown is over will be with Gautham Menon for a web series. It’s for Amazon. Waiting to start work after a long gap due to this corona."

Speaking to Cinema Express, the National Award winner said, "I am not allowed to reveal anything as of now. There is a big lockdown coming up but I hope things fall in place soon. Since there is so much negativity out there, I thought I will share something constructive."

Asked when the series would take off, Sreeram said, "Hopefully, once the lockdown is over and when the government gives permission to shooting, we might start it. Not just filmmakers, the whole world is going to be starting a new life after this. I am trying to stay optimistic."

PC Sreeram was last part of Mysskin's Psycho but he later announced that his assistant Tanvir Mir would take over the project as the cinematographer.

Meanwhile, Gautham Menon last directed a short film, which was a sequel to his career-defining Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. Titled Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn, the film received mixed reviews online but the director was lauded for making a film even in the lockdown.
