Tsunami to be the first Malayalam film to resume shooting
Thermal scanners, masks, sanitizers are being used on the location; the team has around 14 days of shoot remaining
Following Driving Licence, director Lal Jr had started production of his new film Tsunami, which he is co-directing with his father and actor Lal. When the lockdown was announced, it was the first film whose shooting was halted, on March 10.
Now, it has been announced that it will be the first film to resume shooting in Malayalam, adhering to all the necessary guidelines stipulated by the Kerala government. The shoot resumed at Ernakulam's Kacheripady with a 50-member crew as directed by the guidelines. Thermal scanners, masks, sanitizers are being used on the location. The team has around 14 days of shoot remaining.
Scripted by Lal, the film starring Balu Varghese is being bankrolled by Lal's son-in-law Allan Antony under the banner of Panda Dad Productions. Innocent, Aju Varghese, and Suresh Krishna are also a part of the film.
