Vikram, Dhruv Vikram team up for Karthik Subbaraj's next, Chiyaan 60

It is now official that Vikram will work with his son Dhruv in Chiyaan 60, which will be directed by Karthik Subbaraj. SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, who is producing Vikram's upcoming film Cobra, helmed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, will also be bankrolling the actor's 60th film. The makers have also confirmed that this yet-to-be-titled film will be released on April 14, 2021. 

The film will have music by Anirudh, who is reuniting with his Petta director, marking their second collaboration. Incidentally, this is also the second time Anirudh is composing music for Vikram, after the Kanave Kanave track in the actor's 2013 film, David.

Dhruv Vikram recently made his debut in Adithya Varma, the Tamil remake of the Telugu superhit, Arjun Reddy. Vikram, on the other hand, has almost wrapped up Cobra, following which he will shoot for Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. Karthik Subbaraj, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of Jagame Thandhiram, starring Dhanush.
