SS Rajamouli, family test COVID-19 positive; prescribed home quarantine

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli announced on social media that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Apart from him, his family members too have tested positive.

In a tweet shared on his personal profile, director Rajamouli said, "My family members and I developed a slight fever a few days ago. It subsided by itself but we got tested nevertheless. The result has shown a mild COVID positive today. We have home quarantined as prescribed by the doctors."

In a follow-up tweet, the Baahubali director said, "All of us are feeling better with no symptoms but are following all precautions and instructions... Just waiting to develop antibodies so that we can donate our plasma..."

Prayers started pouring on his social media profiles as his fans and well-wishers wished him the best of luck and a speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Rajamouli is busy with planning the shoot for his upcoming film, RRR, starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. It was expected that the shoot would resume sometime in August, but now, such plans might be put on hold.
