Vaibhav's Katteri to have a direct OTT release? 

Katteri, the long-delayed horror comedy starring Vaibhav, might soon be getting a release directly on OTT. Co-starring Sonam Bajwa, Aathmika, Karunakaran, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the film is directed by Deekay of Kavalai Vendam and Yamirukka Bayamaey fame. 

Katteri, which has been in the making for a couple of years, was supposed to hit the screens on April 17. But the release of the film got pushed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Though it was expected that the film might be getting a theatrical release post the lockdown, sources now state the film will be released directly on Zee5 platform in August. 

It may be noted that Vaibhav's RK Nagar was released on Netflix recently and his other film, Lockup will be out on Zee5 mid-August.
