Netflix India announces 17 upcoming titles, including Ludo, Torbaaz and A Suitable Boy

Netflix India announces 17 upcoming titles, including Ludo, Torbaaz and A Suitable Boy

Netflix India today announced a line-up of 17 upcoming titles, including six new films and two new series. The line-up features a mix of Netflix originals and direct premieres. All forthcoming titles are in Hindi. There are no announcements from the south or regional industries. 

The new films are Anurag Basu’s Ludo (starring Abhishek A. Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and others); Torbaaz (starring Sanjay Dutt); Raat Akeli Hai (starring Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui); Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare (starring Konkona Sensharma and Bhumi Pednekar); Ginny Weds Sunny (starring Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey); and Geetanjali Rao’s animation feature Bombay Rose. 

Additionally, the upcoming films Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (starring Janhvi Kapoor, releasing on August 12); Tribhanga - Tedhi Medhi Crazy (starring Kajol, Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar); Kaali Khuhi (starring Shabana Azmi, Satyadeep Mishra, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Riva Arora); Serious Men (starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Nassar, Shweta Basu Prasad); Class Of ’83 (featuring Bobby Deol) and AK vs AK (starring Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap) will also be available on the platform.

The two new series are Mismatched (starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf) and A Suitable Boy (starring Ishaan Khatter, Tabu, Tanya Maniktala and others), that will be available on Netflix globally except in the United States and Canada. They join the lineup of upcoming series Masaba Masaba (starring Masaba Gupta and Neena Gupta as themselves with Neil Bhoopalam); Bombay Begums (starring Pooja Bhatt, Amruta Subhash, Shahana Goswami, Plabita Borthakur and Aadhya Anand) and Bhaag Beanie Bhaag (earlier titled Messy, starring Swara Bhasker, Ravi Patel, Dolly Singh and Varun Thakur).
