With the Covid-19 pandemic spreading rapidly across the country, celebrities have also started getting affected by the virus. The recent news is that Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja and his wife Prerna have tested positive for Covid-19. The couple have got admitted to a private hospital with mild symptoms.

Dhruva's family members and acquaintances who were in contact are being tested now. The Pogaru actor has been keeping a low profile since the untimely demise of his brother, Chiranjeevi Sarja. Dhurva had recently visited the farmhouse, where his brother was laid to rest and paid homage. There has been an outpour of supportive messages from fans of Dhruva Sarja, and industry members wishing them a speedy recovery.
On the professional front, Dhruva Sarja is awaiting the release of Pogaru. The film directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by BK Gangadhar has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead. The team has two more songs left to be shot to call it a wrap and they plan to get it done after getting clearance from the government.
